exits, and I was
lost for awhile.
I had to find
the exit by
Piazza 4 Novembre
the train finally arrived in Milan!

Afraid of getting left behind again, I was already in Lille Flandres!
(again, train leaves at 11:41AM)
I was in Paris Nord!
Waiting for my train to Milan
I was in – what is my
longest train trip yet!
WHILE I WAS SITTING THERE, I WAS SO AFRAID...
I’m actually embarked on the unplanned part of my Italy trip
I can’t send text messages or make calls outside France
I have little communication with the tour group
I only have a few euros left because
I spent most of it
for the train
ticket to Milan
Later on,
I took a nap
When I woke up, I saw the alps outside!
The view was captivating!
One of the security there helped me find the Piazza 4 Novembre exit, where my hostel was close to.
but never underestimate the kindness of humanity.
In my hostel, I got great tips from my roommates on how to survive in Italy alone.
They made me feel comfortable and at ease about being alone in a foreign place.
